New in shop!

You guys may already be familiar with Jayne Bickerton of Voodooville from Manchester, England........she does our lovely steam punk jewelry!
Come check out her Mad Men inspired artwork and earrings, new in store today.
(and Morrissey!)
Also a warm welcome to Jill Porter of Danville, CA! Here at The Dandy Lion we are huge fans of upcycling. We built a majority of our shop space from salvaged materials and found objects...and many of our artists love making old things new again. Jill's beautiful jewelry made from salvaged aluminum cans simply adds to our overall earth-friendly aesthetic.

Did you know recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a 100-watt bulb for 20 hours, a computer for 3 or a tv for 2? (EPA, 2008)

You know that old saying....one man's trash is another's treasure.....

Lots o' Liony love,
The Lions

Just in!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Megan Eckman of Studio MME!

Feeding The Moon
(Note cards & limited edition print available in store now!)

Megan is based out of San Jose, California- and believes in artwork that promotes creativity, invokes laughter, and inspires you to question 'Why not?'. She also thinks high-quality artwork shouldn't break your piggy bank but instead add value to any room in your home.
We couldn't agree more Megan!!

Miss Oste Rich
Mister Mal Laird

Megan's Artist Statement:

"Imbued with an Old World style, my quirky pen and ink illustrations shine with childhood wonder. A sense of humor and an eye for detail lightens the otherwise densely cross-hatched pieces I create. The Victorian and Edwardian periods continue to fascinate me with their outlandish outfits and moral rigidity. Using the traditional black and white medium of that time, I feel a connection to that era, although I certainly don’t feel a need for the wardrobe."

We are especially fond of her twin series!

Daughters of the Forest

Sons of the Forest

Come in soon and check out her amazing work!
